IGNOU January Admissions 2020: The last date extended

IGNOU has again extended the deadline for the January Admission process to February 28, 2020. The dates were extended from January 31, 2020, to February 15, 2020, to now February 28, 2020. The candidates who have not applied yet for various UG and PG courses can do so by visiting the official website of IGNOU.

About IGNOU Term End Examination

The university holds term-end exams twice in a year. The first one happens in June and the second one is in December. Now that December TEE is over, next June 2019 Term End Examination will be held. IGNOU TEE June 2020 is expected to be held from the first to last week of June. The date sheet will be available by May. Admit card is issued a little while before the exam.

Such students can appear for the term-end examination whose registration for courses at IGNOU is valid and not time-barred. They must have submitted assignments by deadlines wherever applicable. Minimum time as prescribed by the university must have lapsed as per the provision of the program. The examination fee must also have been paid. Result declared for IGNOU exams only if these conditions are fulfilled.

What should one do after the declaration of IGNOU Result?

After the declaration of the result, the admission process will begin immediately. The qualified candidates have to fill an application form for admission (Form 2) at the concerned Regional center. The candidates must take some extra photocopies of the IGNOU result card. No duplicate result card will be issued by the University after the last date to submit the admission form.
The result card will be sent by the University by post to the candidates. If the candidates do not receive their result card, they should contact the respective regional center without any delay. The candidates should send the filled-in application form to the University before the last date of submission.

What is the admission procedure for IGNOU 2020?

The candidates will be called for the counseling process for admission. The counseling process will be conducted through offline mode. Admission dates and venue will be published by the authority later on the website. For admission in management courses, candidates first have to qualify for the OPENMAT exam. After that, candidates have to submit the application for admission in a respective course at the concerned regional center. Candidates also have to bring the required documents and fees for admission. Candidates must bring their original required certificates along with their photocopies for verification.
